We are ZERO GRAVITY

Our core values and how we applied it to our FLL journey
Why choose Us?

1. DiscoveryCore Values, Project and Robot Game

Our team got to visit SpaceX because of this Robotic team. We learned through trial and error when building our missions, just like how the engineers would inspect and build improved version of all space crafts that they made and tested (For example the Falcon Heavy). We also learned having good posture helps digestion in the very long run during our Pilate studio visit.

Why choose Us?

2. IntegrationApply what we learned

We learned how to make muffins and mac-n-cheese with the team. We followed instructions and worked together with the team in the process. We actually made it at home for our families. We also learned to play the rubber band and cup games together when we meet for Robotics. It is a good game to entertain self/guests since it is both a one player & multi player’s game!

Why choose Us?

3. Inclusion Being part of the Team

When we picked out roles/responsibilities (A programmer, builder, writer, and presenter) within our Robotic team, each one of us felt valued. All of the roles are very important to the team. The builder will build or improve the walls around the robot to better the performance of the robot. The programmer needs to program for the robot to complete our missions.

Why choose Us?

4. CoorpertitionSpirit of friendly competition

We had volunteers from an older FTC team helping us out on the setup and programming of our EV3 robot, and we are very grateful with their generosity. We did not yell at each other or hurt each other when we lose at games or competitions. That is team building and showing sportsmanship.

Why choose Us?

5. TeamworkThe importance of teamwork

We learned Teamwork is about when my team and I were playing the rubber band game that requires teamwork to pick up and drop down cups of different shapes and sizes. I also made Mac&Cheese with Amber together, and it was so surprisingly yummy it tasted just like my Mom's

6. Fun You got to have FUN!

We had tons of fun with our trips to SpaceX and California science museum. We got to see a real space shuttle, and the brilliant people that made them. We had fun when practicing our skits. I get to be the awesome astronaut that did not practice Pilate before my big mission in Space, resulted in muscle deterioration.
